Before worship on Sunday morning, I was frustrated about a few things. I ended up coming in late to the Sanctuary because of what I was dealing with. I found a seat in my usual area, and one of my children found me and gave me a hug. He reminded me, with that gentle squeeze, that everything was going to be okay. It took me a few more moments, but then I remembered that I was here with others to worship the LORD. I was there to honor Him, not through the work I was not able to do, but through just loving Him. Singing together is one of my favorite things, and the music set me back to stop focusing on myself and focus on what God has done for me through His Son. When things in my life start stressing me out, someone recently reminded me "Be still." Yep. "Be still and know that I am God."
