Dehumanize Your Enemy and You Can Justify Anything Against Him

There are some sick individuals out there, hell bent on living out whatever truth they want to live by, and damn the consequences! They dehumanize their enemies, and so, in calling them names (fetus, fascist, nazi, etc.), they can justify violence done to them. They do this, because, from Cain until today, it is easier to remove someone from your way than it is to examine yourself and do the hard, but right thing. We make those who are in the way of our happiness “less” than us, and, rather than seek righteousness through God, we seek our own, envious, lustful, prideful selves, and remove people from us.
Consider this, and you may call me whatever name you want for saying it, abortion is justified wholesale by calling an unborn child a fetus, and the majority of arguments for it are “Do you know what the mother’s life will be like if she keeps it? She won’t get to follow her dreams!” Or what about people who stand on Scripture? Some say that such people are causing violence when they repeat Scripture, or stand on God’s truth. They even celebrate when they are imprisoned, beaten or murdered for their belief. The thing is, friends, people have been murdering the righteous, as was inferred before, since Cain murdered Abel because God favored Abel’s offering. We murder, even in our hearts, because we would rather get our way, than stand on truth.
You may call me a fundamentalist, you may call me hateful, bigoted, or whatever trendy word there is, nowadays, but I will not back down from the truth, and the truth is we murder one another, whether in thought, spirit or action, because we’re selfish. We justify said murders because our feelings are more important than the truth. We dehumanize one another because we desire to dominate as opposed to seeking peace, and we want no opposition in the hunt to fulfill our lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of our lives. Our only hope is in Jesus! He died to make us new! He left heaven to be born as a man, lived the life we could not, and rose again, sealing the promise of New and Everlasting life. We can have new life now, through Him, and Everlasting life forever with Him when our time here is done. But we have to give up our lusts and our pride. Only then will we have peace, no matter what circumstances we are in!
Genesis 4:1-16
Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, “I have gotten a man with the help of the Lord.” And again, she bore his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, and Cain a worker of the ground. In the course of time Cain brought to the Lord an offering of the fruit of the ground, and Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and his offering, but for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell. The Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary toc you, but you must rule over it.”
Cain spoke to Abel his brother. And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know; am I my brother’s keeper?” And the Lord said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground. And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you work the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.” Cain said to the Lord, “My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, you have driven me today away from the ground, and from your face I shall be hidden. I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.” Then the Lord said to him, “Not so! If anyone kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” And the Lord put a mark on Cain, lest any who found him should attack him. Then Cain went away from the presence of the Lord and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
James 4:1-12
What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
1 John 2:15-17
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
