G.P.S.

God's Perfect Son

I do not have a very good sense of direction. I still do not know most of the street names in my neighborhood, and we have lived here for three years. But...I love maps. Whenever we go to an amusement park or zoo or something, I will most definitely grab a complimentary map. Too bad my children usually get a hold of it, and the poor map has very little chance of surviving the day. Now that the public has easy access to GPS (the Global Positioning System) with our cell phones and in our vehicles, I hardly ever leave town without using it. I have relied more on GPS and less on my intuition.

I rely too much on the map services on my phone. More than one time I have been directed to a place that does not exist or is at a different location. I don't think I can rely too much on my other G.P.S., though. God's Perfect Son. He will not steer me wrong. He will not lead me to a "dead end." He will always find a Way for me. My ultimate goal should be with God, to be told that I am a good and faithful servant, and the only way to do that is through Jesus Christ.

Your word is a lamp to my feet

and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
