To Love Kindness

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8 (English Standard Version)

I will keep this to the point. God has called his followers to do justice and love kindness. He has told us to treat others as how we would want to be treated. He said to love Him the best, and love others like ourselves. Those who claim to love God, must also show love to those in His image. Christ went to those who were unhealthy in both mind and body. All of our spirits are in need of a Savior. I am in need of Jesus, my Savior. I am in no way perfect, and I fail at something everyday. You and I are not worthy of God's grace. Yet, He gave it to us freely. We can offer grace to those who are imperfect too. He has given us a perfect model to how to love others with His Son, Jesus Christ. That is who we need to look to for our cues on how to treat others. Love God, Love others. Be kind.

11 Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.

12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

Colossians 3:11-13 (English Standard Version)
