It is my month to teach Junior Church. I always like to have at least one kid-friendly worship song for us to sing. At our worship service, all of the kids stay in the sanctuary until after Communion. Instead of staying for the sermon, the children go to various places with the teachers to have their own learning time.

One of my lessons was on Jesus walking on water and calming a storm down. Can any of us do that? We have no control over storms or seas, and can only walk on water if it is frozen. The song we sang is called “My God Is So Great” says it so simply, God can do anything He wants to do. We can read about it throughout Scripture, and we can see it in our world around us. God has His hands in our lives.

Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.
