Which is the Superior Part of the Body?

This morning, I did a search on which part of the Body of Christ was superior to all others. What I discovered was there was only one part that was supreme, Christ as our Head, and He humbled Himself, even laying down His life to restore us to His Father. Why, then, do we focus on gender, ethnicity, and any other distinction when it comes to being a Christ follower? There will some who will hate this message, and call me mysoginistic, bigoted, or whatever other name they can think of; yet I can't read anywhere in the Bible that one part of the Body, apart from the head, which is Jesus, that is superior to another! If your belief in Jesus causes you to look at skin, causes you to look at nationality, or gender, or whatever other distinction you can think of, and see one as being better or worse than all others, than you're missing the point. This is not to say there are not roles and distinctions in the Body, but that is not for this reflection. The point is that the Body should be unified under no condition other than that we are all members of the same body, unified in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are all one, or at least we should be. I don't see your skin color, I don't see your gender, I don't see your socio-economic status as what defines you, but I see the Jesus who died to make you new. So what do we do with this? Let us stop allowing the world to define us, divide us, and demoralize us, and stand together in Jesus' name. It is time we stop looking at the Physical, and live and walk according to the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-23 has a lot to say on this!). Let us show the world in a time of division and hatred what true love an unity looks like by following Jesus instead of culture, and LOVE one another with a pure and sacrificial love. Romans 14: As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written,

“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”

So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.
